How we handle your data.

The company is in formation. Its registration in the Czech commercial register is not yet complete, so it does not yet have an IČO or a VAT number to quote here. Until it does, the people behind Viractiva are responsible for anything you send us, and the address above reaches them. We will publish the registered details here as soon as they exist.

Nothing. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no session or local storage. You can browse the whole catalogue without sending us anything or being counted.

Two ordinary technical exceptions, stated because they are true rather than because they are interesting. Our host and content network keep short-lived access logs containing IP addresses, as effectively every web server does. And if you use the search box, what you type travels in the page address (?q=…), so it may appear in those same logs — worth knowing if you would rather not search for something identifying.

The quote form asks for your name, company, work email and your message. That is all of it, and all four are used for one purpose: to understand what you need and reply to you.

When you submit it, we store the enquiry as a record in our own system and send a copy to our inbox so a person sees it. We do not sell it, share it for anyone else’s marketing, or add you to a mailing list — there is no mailing list.

The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering a business enquiry you chose to send us, and, where a quote leads to an order, performance of a contract.

Only the services that make the site and our mail work, and only as processors acting on our instructions:

• Vercel — hosting and serving this website.
• Neon — the database your enquiry is stored in, hosted in Germany.
• Resend — delivering the email that tells us your enquiry arrived.
• Cloudflare — serving the images and video on these pages.

Our typefaces are served from our own site rather than fetched from a third party, so simply loading a page here does not announce your visit to anyone else.

We keep enquiries for as long as we are dealing with them, and afterwards as part of our ordinary business records — an enquiry that becomes an order has to be kept for the periods Czech accounting and tax law require.

We have not set a fixed retention schedule and would rather say so than publish a number we do not actually apply. If you want your enquiry deleted, ask us and we will.

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, ask for it in a portable form, or object to our using it at all. Write to info@viractiva.com and we will action it — there is no form to fill in and no charge.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you are entitled to complain to a data protection authority — in the Czech Republic that is the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (ÚOOÚ), and you may also complain to the authority where you live.

If we add anything that collects data — an analytics tag, a cookie, another form — we will change this page in the same breath, and update the date at the top. If you want to know what changed, ask.
